Not sure, strangely enough I've never watched it.
They only released one album though, and the record company don't make it any more. As it was it took me a long time to track it down, and that was in about 98 when they were still making it. :)
'Morning Afterglow' is the one they're probably most well known for. And it is a sexy sexy song. :)
Starpromo
May 13th, 2003, 08:16 AM
yeah i have a friend that owns it... i dont think he knew that they dont make it any more but il tell he cos he's always looking for other stuff done by them...

May 13th, 2003, 08:19 AM
I've never found anything else. :( And I have looked, believe me. You can still get copies over eBay and Amazon, but that's it.
I've got the 'Beautiful Insane' album, as well as one of their singles for 'Best Friend's Girl'. That's just a funny song. :)

Kitiara
May 13th, 2003, 10:32 AM
The first Good Charlotte album, and Camino Palmero by The Calling. I'm listening to that one now, it's beautiful. :)
lava
May 13th, 2003, 10:41 AM
I think 28 is really into good charlotte...
Kitiara
May 13th, 2003, 10:45 AM
They're absolutely fantastic. :) 'Emotionless' off their latest album is perfection. :)
lava
May 13th, 2003, 10:49 AM
I dont like them... I'm not into kiddie mall punk.
Kitiara
May 13th, 2003, 10:51 AM
'Kiddie mall punk'? Mark Good Charlotte down for my playlist then.
Look, I've got four Metallica albums, does that balance it out? :)
Starpromo
May 13th, 2003, 10:51 AM
me neither raf, i really hate it in fact...
Kitiara
May 13th, 2003, 10:55 AM
Philistines! :)
I love all that kind of indie / rock stuff. And Britpop. And nu-metal. And metal itself in fact...
There are three things I dislike:
1. Westlife.
2. Cheesy, tacky pop rubbish. I prefer groups that can actually play their own instruments.
4. Anything that sounds like a bloke made it in his bedroom on a synthesizer. I don't get on with 'dance' music.
4. Westlife
Alright, four things.

Oh! The STREETS!!!
Starpromo
May 13th, 2003, 11:00 AM
nah the streets arnt dance... its great and i dont like dance... id call the the streets urban poetry... :)
Kitiara
May 13th, 2003, 11:00 AM
Yeah, that. Dance, trance, whatever they call it.
And that guy that looks like Malcolm McDowell... Scooter. God, that stuff is awful. It all just sounds the same to me. Although I'm guessing that since most people who are going to be listening to it will be out of their heads anyway, it won't matter. :smirk:
lava
May 13th, 2003, 11:01 AM
I never said they were dance... I'm just saying it sounds like someone put it together in his bedroom.
Starpromo
May 13th, 2003, 11:02 AM
haha
very stereotypical... kit...
although a pretty good point
Kitiara
May 13th, 2003, 11:03 AM
True, a very sweeping generalisation from me there, but seriously I can't tell one Scooter song from another. It's all got the same background beat to it, there's no originality or anything...
Guess I just like my guitars. :)
Starpromo
May 13th, 2003, 11:06 AM
yep same background beat same chipmunk singing over with the same lyrics... thats scooter.
Kitiara
May 13th, 2003, 11:13 AM
And for the record, I don't like The Streets either... :)
lava
May 13th, 2003, 11:22 AM
Oh... how could you not like the STREETS??? he's so freaking awesome! He's a god!
Kitiara
May 13th, 2003, 11:25 AM
Nope. It's just noise. :smirk:
This is going to get me lynched, isn't it? :P
lava
May 13th, 2003, 11:41 AM
yup... So kit, any other dark secrets you want to tell me? Don't worry, I won't tell anyone... hehe.

May 13th, 2003, 04:52 PM
"hey how you doin"...
haha.
so far so good. i like the second song, i think that if you use songs like this, more people will listen. Along with the people that already listen. I like the new song idea rather then the oldies.:P
if i sounded harsh, i did not mean to make it sound like that. Im jsut trying to help. btw, your sites are awsome!!!!!!

Hey Kit, have you actually listened to the Street lyrics ??? Actually you might be fed up with the Brits accent but I find it cute, I never get to here that and that's a reason why I like the Streets (somehow it makes me think of the movie called 'Snatch', with an all-english crew... good movie)

May 14th, 2003, 10:35 AM
Yea!!! Well whoever! lol =) Sorry Soul got you and lava mixed up!

May 14th, 2003, 10:38 AM
Oh, now Snatch is one of the best films I've ever seen. And is pretty close to my actual accent. :)
I've listened to some of the Streets songs, mainly when they were up for a Brit Award, but I can't say I pad much attention to the lyrics I'm afraid. :sure:
lava

Ah, the guy who plays Turkish. :) Yeah, he's good. Such a ****ney geezer. :)
Ever seen Lock Stock? If you like Snatch you'll love that film too. :)
Jeez, I can't say 'C0ckney geezer' without getting edited? Doh...
lava
May 14th, 2003, 10:58 AM
yeah, I've seen it. I love the explanation about the guy on fire coming out of the bar... that was hilarious. And I hadn't realized that it's brick top who narrates the movie... hehe.
Kitiara
May 14th, 2003, 11:03 AM
He's a good actor as well. They're both great films, Guy Ritchie is pure genius.
