Dozen Pixels

I am working on this art community and I am calling it Dozen Pixels.
I have been working on a logo for it and I need critique.
Now I won't tolerate any rude comments, only comment if you have something that can help me.:}

I would definately make everything more proportional. Suggest using a different font for the slogan...Mabe a pixel font would work out. The "stacked pixels" should also be the same height as the title. Maybe use cubes as opposed to squares. And the drop shadow shouldnt be dropped so far. Just my opinion. Its a good start tho. :)

umm thers only 10 blocks? try and make it 12, but your off to a good start. i agree with making the slogan a differnt foont. lookin good bro

One thing you could do is to have the typeface dissipate onto pixels (or transform into pixels on the right-hand side) and get rid of the pile of pixels - as they are not obviously 'pixels'. They look more like a pile of squares or a pile of boxes ready to be posted.

I would have chosen a different tone of green as that is too 'logo creator software looking' if you know what I mean. Perhaps even a soft blue would be better with a low saturation. (Rather like the Kirupa menu bar colour).

on a tangent here, elaborating on Sour's input:

You can add the final two pixels as part of the "S" fading into pixels....make the pile a little smaller and add as many pixels to the fading "S" as yu need in order to come up with 12 pixels...


OR


You can make a 3D pile of pixels....so there are 12 pixels in it....like a rubix cube but with only 12 pixels....of course you will be missing a bunch to get a perfect cube, but that's your problem;) , design problem that is....

Your logo is nice but it needs improvement and I totally agree with all the comments so far.

I really like your name and I was bored so I started messing around. Maybe you should try something like this:

Making a company / website around pixels is unheard of and groundbreaking. :sure: I'm sure you'll have no problem coming up with a slogan that hasn't been done.

When I meant about the rude comments thing is just saying it sucks.
You can say its bad but give me help on how to improve it.
I am going to take your comments and work on them later on i'm kinda tired right now.

Use cubes, personalise it more, you will just get confused with the other 9,999,999,999 websites that use a similar name. Or for the logo you could have the cubes building hallf a house.

Have a name with less results that way its easier to get the top result.

New name and new logo.
The name is too common and if I am changing the name well I need a new logo.
