Java Crashes Firefox

Any page I go to with Java embedded crashes Firefox 1.5x on OS X 10.4 and it's ridiculously annoying. I can remedy this by running Firefox under Rosetta, but that's a total pain in the butt as the browser slows way way way down and it takes forever to do anything. And by forever I mean not the instant gratification I've come to expect from the world.

Any ideas? This bothers me :(

hmm, seems to work fine for me maybe a few secounds slower then on safari but not a hugely noticable diffrence. Maybe try updateing (if you have not alreaty) or reinstalling.

always happens when i visit n00b myspaces which are spammed at me. they are loaded with movies, songs, etc... that they crash firefox. good work script kiddies. :ponder:
