15...its fine on my connection. Are you viewing it on a pc or a mac? Where I work they have pc's and the home page doesnt open, i need to insert a preloader so its fully loaded when viewed, its fine if you give it a few seconds to load.

15 is awful, that's way too low. Put it at 31, that's the best FPS. I'm on a PC.

Seriously that high?? We were taught at uni that 15 was more than adequate, graduated from a pretty good uni as well, lecturers include rob de neit, john mcfaul etc

Yeah, they're wrong. Sorry. 15 is not at all adequate for smooth motion. Not even close to it. :td:

It isn't like it affects the file size or anything. 31 is without question the best FPS, as confirmed by Macromedia. It provides the smoothest playback on the widest variety of systems.

Glad to help. Uni professors don't always know what they're talking about. ;)

hahahah...that is indeed true, for my final major i was told by one tutor to develop a style i wasnt sure of, did this for 6 weeks then another lecturer told me i had just wasted 6 weeks doing work that I shouldnt have...wasnt a happy bunny! Then I had to effectively do a 10 week project in 11 days...sleep deprevation is seriously not cool.

15fps was more than adequate when flash first came out. By the way, I am still waiting it to be loaded.
