My first web design - need critique

Hi everyone, I am principally a video cameraman, and graphic designer but am keen to venture to the world of the web, this is my first design. This design is for my mothers Holistic Therapy company. It is still just a basic layout, quite sparse. The content and photography are temporary as i will take bespoke pictures or the site.

I need some tips as to where i may be going right or wrong with this idea as i feel it is somewhat lacking!:cross-eye

Its way to small, but other than that it's not too bad. It conveys the right feeling imo, even though i'm not too familiar with holistic therapy ...
