Hi:

http://www.pyrophone.com/beyondthepail

I did this project to learn PHP - a small-scale e-commerce site (functional, but with parody product). Built with web-standards compliant XHTML/CSS. I like the way it came out -- interested to know what you think. It has an admin section (not posted here) from which to manage categories and product, as well as search and view orders.

Check out a product, including the large image. Buy something (put in fake info, including a 16-digit fake credit card # - nothing is really processed).

I'd like crtitques of design as well as the store buying process - I may use this in production eventually.

Thanks,

Jon

It seems quite functional. I bought a briefcase, and I expect it to be delivered via private helicopter any minute now. ;)

Just keep looking up - should be there any minute! :stare::P

Thanks for checking it out!

Really nice work. Design could be worked on, but for the coding it seems to work really nice and everythings pretty top notch and easy to use.

If you click and drag while attempting to close the 'enlarged' view on a product, the site adds horizontal and vertical scrollbars, and doesn't close until you click without dragging. (Firefox, Windows)

I wouldn't expect it to close while dragging, but the horizontal and vertical scrollbars are an issue. I haven't been able to work that one out... Anyone have any suggestions?
