Hardly a design breakthrough, yet it fits the purpose.
As your site is based on cars and modding etc., I would think about making the website less sort of ... square and more rebellious. Do you know what I mean?

don't like how you have to scroll laterally to view if you don't have a high res monitor...mines 1078 but still need to scroll...just my 2 pence but then I know very little!

Seeing as it's a car site why not have a very faint image of a highly polished engine in the background behind all the text/images etc?

Agree with nige. No way you should have to horizontally scroll on 1078. You could fix that by making the 3 main columns a little smaller each.

Other than that, decent site. I really suggest you get some cleaner images though. Refer to MSN.com and try to get your headline image (all the cars) to look something similar to that and to cycle through some random pics like that.
