Yo!
I was just messing around yesterday and made a concept design, it's not a site nor for anything special, I just gave it a random name and planned a bit and went on with designing. I was aiming for a nice clean look and experimenting with rounded corners. So, do you think this design would be worth transforming into a full site?
I've also done my best at the markup, it's valid xhtml 1.0 strict and the markup is very semantic, almost everything is contained within the style sheets.

it looks alot like a blog. i think that it would look better with a bigger header aswel.

I like the green gradient, very subtle

I like the dog (did you do this of find it?)

I like the header and the nav is uncomplicated which I also like

One criticism would be that the rounded box next to the dog (containing the links, recent news, ect) has to be a bit wider. Not much, just a bit.

Cool, thanks for the critiques guys, very valid and true. Yeah I did the dog also, a long time ago. After looking at it again, yeah, it seems a bit too bloggish and the side bar would be better a bit wider.
