What exactly are you planning on doing with your web server? Just host files? If so, what types of files?(-:

@Kirupa: I'm just planning to upload files to the server and to host a random profile area too. Also for the file host it would be just be some exe's for back-up and html, htm files for testing.

Is that enough description?

Yeah, for what you are trying to do, Win2k should be fine. XP Pro's IIS should be fine also. Pretty much any OS that has either IIS/Apache will work.
