i'm sure you get asked this all the time but how exactly do you achieve the pixelated effect?

pixelated? usualy we go for the more clean look. nobody likes pixelated. if your thinking of pixel fonts, go to www.dafont.com and go to bitmap

Bring up the saturation and Gama, I think that would help...

The logo is a pixel art thingy.. I think there is tutorials here that shows you how to create that.
