So the Flash site is almost done ... I'm working on a single page HTML/CSS layout for the 800x600 and 56kers. It's a little rough, but my main goal is for this page to use shared content, so when I update one I update both. Also, I wanted this page to be different than the flash site, yet retain a few similar elements. How bad did I do (-:

even though they are so basic, i love the fonts. what font is the yellow "stripped" text at the header?
& just to say, the navigation buttons on linktek feel very smooth!

Excellent work. I really love simple sites like this one.
I don't understand what that graphic under the "Portfolio" section is though... the one that says "Portfolio of Aaron Arroyo". The colors in that graphic don't go with the rest of the site, and it's too small to actually see what's going on in there. Basically, I don't like that graphic.
by the way, you have a really cool name.

I really love your work. Things to ponder:
- I noticed the contact form was in Flash. You might consider doing an HTML version for those who don't have Flash, especially considering it's spawning from the HTML version of the site (although I think it's the same form...)
- You should let the user know they're missing out on some sexy Flash action. Maybe once you're done this, you'll link to it on a splash page that has a link to the Flash page, but it wouldn't hurt to have a little reminder on the page itself.
There ain't much to hate on here. Solid work.

Excellent. I really like it. If I had a critique I think I would have to say that the style feels pretty different from your Flash portfolio. I think it'd be neat if they were pretty much exactly the same. I think you could pretty much pull it off. :thumb:

Reef, the "stripped" font is Kartika.
As for the contact form, I want to use the same one for both sites, however, I think I'm going to use HTML/PHP for the form instead of Flash. As for the style, I'm going to try and work in some more elements from the Flash site so the two aren't completely different. More updates to come.
Thanks! :thumb2:

Any help would be appreciated ... I just put in a 'redirecturl' tag in, taking users to this site if they don't have the required flashplayer. I uninstalled flashplayer, checked it in FF and IE and it worked, and then reinstalled the flashplayer. So now my flash site loads in FF, but I'm still being redirected in IE. I've cleared the cache, rebooted, and reinstalled but am still having this problem :q:
... do you get the flash or html site with IE??
