My first go at this

Ok this is my first bash at pixel art. I did it in grey first so i could get the gist of it.
Any feedback or advice please say as i'm willing to learn more.

Before anyone asks i don't have a clue what the building is.

Here's some advice I got given once when I was just starting.
If I remember, this guy said to do the lines lighter than the fills of the walls. I think it makes it look better. Try it and see ;)

Ok so heres my update on this now with your suggestions taken in.

I decided against the smelly lines as when i tried them they looked out of place

all i did was study and look at how other people did it then tried it out on cubes and the added more to see how it went tried and tried till i came up with that.

I haven't done much sinice that pixel wise.

I've got a house and a swimming pool on the go but thats it.

I need to spend some time again on it as its very enjoyable to do.

Dunno..

The picture seems pretty filled now..

But antennas and satelite-dishes always do the trick in my opinion. ^^;

Aswell as a cool (bio)truck or car would do the trick to fill things up. :3
