need help with the tutorial

in the flash mx basic tutorial>dropdown menu tutorial, it says to attach a script. can someone please detail this to a step by step procedure, i have never used actionscript :-\ . here's the url of the tutorial:

Hi :)

What you have to is this : right click the object which you have to add the code to. A menu will appear, choose 'Actions' from this menu. Now, the actions panel will open. On the right there should be two parts, a gray part at the top and a white at the middle. At the bottom of the gray part, you'll see a bunch of icons, including a blue one with a black arrow in it. Click it, and choose 'Expert Mode'. Now simply copy the code and paste it into the white area :)
