Cinema 4d Help ~ Bending object along a spline

how can you bend an object along a spline?

I dont know the experience of the users on Cinema 4d here
but hopefully someone can answer this. I dont know if this is a certain tool
or a series of steps. Is this even possible?

I got a picture below showing my panel and the curved spline, if that helps.

So there is no way of doing it without additional plugins?

I don't know for certain, but I never found the function in C4D so I got that plugin to do it. Animation is a different matter, that's simple enough to make an object follow a spline. But to deform along a spline - not to my knowledge.

What other techniques could i use to accomplish the same effect?

If it's just one simple object like the one you've got, just stick a Bend deformer inside it and adjust it manually to match the spline.
