i finally managed to complete my first portfolio, i started it a real long time ago(about a 13 months)... but i have been busy at school/other projects... its done in flash mx2004 before flash 8 was released, so alot of stuff would have been done in an easier way... am working on a new version already.. but i thought i might use that one for now as i worked hard on it back then...

alot of people reported me problems with the gallery, i fixed most of them, but they keep on coming... please tell me if there is any bugs. c&c are so much appreciated..

I'm expecting some sounds - I even checked my speakers to see if they were on. Just a few button sounds would make me happy

Get rid of the blurry fonts.
Too many fonts on one page. Doesn't do you any good. Try to use 2 font, but correctly.
Could use more frames.

Not to nitpick, but another thing is that the striped bg in the flash movie doesn't always match up exactly with the html bg depending on resolution and/or browser size. There's a couple of fixes for that, the easiest being to publish the movie as "Transparent" and then loose the striped bg image in your flash file.

Good job :thumb2:

i think it's very cool man. alot of the graphics seem a lot like another website. i forget the name, i think the company starts with an "F" they use alot of the smae font treatments, glowing text and reflected graphics. dang! i wish i could remember. but it definately looks like you love their style.

i love how the menu slides back into place when you pull it too far out. but it's too transparent to read well when you are trying to navigate.

when you try exporting with a transparent background like suggested above, why don't you let the menu be draggable all over the web page. then if it goes beyond the page it slides back in... that way the menu can be viewed to the left or the right of your content instead of right over top.

nice site tho sir.

Like it so far, speed up the frame rate and why exactly do we need to login? Anyways great start! Kind of small, but that's not a bad thing...

The seconds ticking on your page makes me feel like i'm dying :elderly:

I think the information you give in the 'about me' section is a little uninteresting at best (but come on! there's no reason to hate fish! They can even be blue, grey and sometimes orange, your favorite colors!). The picture isn't too good for a portfolio site either - it looks like you're apologising for breaking the cookie jar.

I'm not too crazy about the opacity on the menu, it sort of clutters thing up.

It's a little confusing that your nick is icleric, and your address is iklerik.

Good god, I can't believe that you're all reccommending adding sound. Sound is BAD! Bad sound. Go to your room. If your page's subject isn't sound or music, don't have sound. :td::scream:

Non-disruptive button sounds would be nice though anogar

I don't like that I have to click to use the menu, if you made the menu appear on rollover it might be a really nice effect

Also not feeling the scan line background

I love it all :thumb:
Your preloader is totally orginal and awsome :thumb:
If your going to put sound you should make a little box at the beggining allowing you to choose "yes" or "no" for sound.. just incase ppl are listening to their own music

Im sorry but I dont really like this too much. The gray and blue gradients dont blend to well. Is your portfolio page not done yet?
