making pdf files

I need to make a pdf file. What program is available for doing that. I have a doc and want to transform it to a pdf file. Thanks in advance for anyone who helps.

you need to get yourself a copy of Adobe Acrobat writer, but it'll cost ya

There are also some free tools for it, search google for "txt+to+pdf+free". You sure find some programs.
