Up the graphics and usabilty and hittesting and you've got a nice game there. Once those are fixed it looks like it will be really fun. I always love these games.

Iäve seen that done before. Maybe you should brush up on the graphics though. The walls objects could probly use a bevel rather then that gradiant.
And maybe you should code it so that the objects doesnt disapear when you loose, kinda annoying to have to replace all the objects each time.

-from the icon you should be able to drag the fans out, instead of it appearing on the stage
-need something to throw away a fans you don't need
-gets annoying to lose your whole setup and start completely over after you fail, as ohls stated
- the ball goes thru objects once it has hit it once, that needs fixing

yes, the hit testing is one of the biggest issues with this. I am having trouble programming it so that the ball absolutely cannot go through the bar. Any ideas?
Otherwise, these are really good ideas, to have a trash bin to put excess tools, and to make the tools drag right out of the button.
As for keeping the configuration after loosing, I actually specifically programmed it not to do that, but after i put in the trash can, it might be a good idea.
And about the art, I also agree; I suck at it, so any specific suggestions regarding this would be great.
P.S. Ohls, what was the name of the game where you saw this before?

To hard lol
You can beat it with 2 walls and 2 fans lol it was pretty easy. Also make sure when you loose the walls and fans placed arn't erased.

The ball goes right through the bars. :puzzle: Haha, you can use a fan to push the ball through the bars. It takes a little while though.

Yes, it does. I don't know of any way to fix that...

ahhh so this is why i was answering all those question to you about hittest and gravity crap yesterday...i like the idea, i used to love that simple machine game...i would get rid of the gradient on the bars an instead make em more like a bar with a little drop shadow maybe...also, i had a problem with a fan where it went behind it, then flew back infront with the horizontal velocity
EDIT:one mroe thing, are you supposed to be allowed to move stuff while playing, cuz i was just messing around and moving the things while it had started

yes, you are supposed to be able to move them while playing, so if you are quick-reflexed, you can ajust for small mistakes... but the ball usually moves too quick for that ;)
I don't really understand what you mean when you say "more like a bar"
and i also don't know how to make a drop shadow (there is a flash feature that does that, right?)
Also, if anybody can comment and give suggestions for the rest of the art, most importantly the background, that be great :)
