is there anyway in photoshop to improve the resolution ?

cos i was putting a logo and the words in the banner, somehow the resolution is very blunt. very much jagged

cos i was helping my guild for the webby, the forum are done, jus tat the banner - -) giving me problem.. cos it have to be in gif file... then the resolution was like kinda way not acceptable...

Hmm… I can't see anything (err, well, it seems like I see the source for the img, when I hit the index.html page).

I looked at it through cURL, and it told me two things… first, you're not sending a length HTTP header. Second, it looks like you just renamed the gif to index.html, because you're also sending it as text/html, so IIS doesn't look at the mime-type of the file (I'm guessing).

Are the people viewing it successfully in IE, which I think semi-disregards the content-type header, and afaik, guesses based on the content? I'm getting the same thing in Webkit, cURL, and (I think, I tested earlier, now it won't launch) Firefox.

Basically right now, its in jpeg, therefore the image have no problem in resolution,

beside what i show now, its not what i wanna to show to pple, its jus "under construction"

basically if u knw what i trying to say, its i insert an image(gif format) into a html file for e.g

somehow the image resolution is very blunt. should say tat the image look jagged..

hmm think i reach home later , then upload the jagged image gif, and u might understand what i trying to say for the resolution... cos i was thinking if gif will give me this kinda resolution which there is no way i can improve it.. think i will do it the hard way...

cos currently i using phpbb for the forum, some how for the header, they only accept gif file... if i upload jpeg, it will not show the image

The image resolution doesn't change (well, unless you're talking about DPI, but I'm pretty sure you're not). The quality changes depending on the export settings.

You need to be using an <img /> tag to show the image.

you could try saving at a higher file size. that might fix the jaggies/
