Hi guys, I just want to let you know this: www.fisixengine.com (http://www.fisixengine.com/) or www.flashfisix.com (http://www.flashfisix.com/)

This engine in development is insane! Check the blog for examples of the verlet engine (it's written in as3 so it's very very fast!)

What do you think? Write some comment on the examples on the blog too!

Very Impressive, I wonder what kind of games will implement this technology..

I saw this thread a couple of times -- just decided not to answer. Can't really tell if it is faster than writing it in AS2 or using the engine to create the effect. This one (http://www.fisixengine.com/demos/demo1.html) may be faster with your engine than writing it in AS2 but then again you have to look at the source and decide.

Anways.. good job! :thumb:

That's really pretty awesome. I like the snakey weird one where you can drag it around.

that is very impressive especially in terms of performance.

Thats really cool, I really like the cloth one :D. But it still seems slow when there are alot of collisions and stuff limiting it too certain games so no drive over everything smash 'em all games, but a sniper or FPS game would be fgood.

Biznuge, make sure you have Flash player 9 installed (here (http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflash)). AS3 is only available in that player.

Snipergen, that is awesome. I can't wait for a stable release of this bad boy.

:*( Can't believe I did that. I'm on a machine at work right now, and forgot about as3 being flash 9!!

my bad!!!

FISIX looks absolutely beautiful though. Think I may have to delve into some AS3 sometime soon. Can't believe the rate of playback, even on a slightly lower system spec as i am on!!
