I would like some feedback on a cms base site that I’m building. This is a shore club that wanted a refresh on their site and was on a tight budget and time line.

http://shenorockshoreclub.memfirstweb.net/custom/member_home/member_home.html

A couple of things:
1. Color: I had four greens to pick from, had to use green.
2. Logo will be in the header, waiting for the club to decide on the one they want.

How does the site look? Is it easy to read and find information or is it confusing?

Cheers

add the contact details in a hidden div and incorperate them into the bottom of the layout when they are shown?

The margin inbetween the nava nd the content area seems a tad to much mabye take off like 3px.

Nice images and layout.

Thanks for your comments, I shaved off 5px on the padding between the header and the main content top.

To me it feels like one of those "parked domain pages". That is to say, too sterile. I think it's that top green bar, is something supposed to go in there ? Also, I'm not sure why you have so much text encapsulated as images, consider using plain text in <h1>'s <h2>'s and formatting those appropriately with CSS

EDIT: Why on earth all that table use :O That entire site could be done in CSS man

hey, just wondering what CMS you were using?

1) Is it me or are you using an internal css style sheet?
2) go here http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fshenorockshoreclub.memfirst web.net%2Fcustom%2Fmember_home%2Fmember_home.html
3. Links don't work but perhaps you explained that in this thread (i didn't read the replied :) ).
4) When you roll over the top menu buttons the text looks like it gets smushed (on the dining link only).
5) you need to extend the width of txt_top.gif as well as txt_bottom.gif
6) The link that seperates the left menu from the main content is only 1px wide. To go with your 5px theme you should make that line 5px and make it white.
7. GO WITH A PURE CSS LAYOUT, hah. I took a look at the source and almost cried.

Besides that, I like the colors and it looks like it works nicely. good job...

Thanks for the comments: to answer all question.
1. CMS was build by our company.
2. We can not use pure CSS, not what the company likes, wasn't my call.
3. I'm using an internal CSS sheet until I load it in to the CMS system. It will become external.
4. The header will have the logo, but client is still not sure what one they will be going with.
5. I HAD TO USE GREEN, there was no flexibility.

Please Note: The links are just filler for right now, it was just to show the client what things would look like. This is a temp and not fully build out site yet.

Cheers
