ok, so i'm doing a website for a singing artist, and i just wanted to know what you guys think of my concept thus far.

here is the link for the (unfinished) site:

http://penguin-undead.com/noah

right now, all the links on the site lead to the home page, except for the "home" button. Its not a glitch, i just haven't finished any of the sections yet because before i finish the site i wanted to see if my client (and/or you guys) have any opinions on the site, wether they be positive or negative.

thanks a bunch!

need to add preloaders and speed up the frame rate. everything takes too long to do. the site serves its purpose but doesnt stand out. try adding some more colours and picturse to get it away from the monocrome white.

I like the concept!! I agree with Apix of the fact that it those not stand out!! IMy super suggestion would be to remake the navigation, make it music like, I mean it's too plain!! :cowboy:

thanks guys, i added some banners and stuff just now while you guys were leaving the posts...because i also knew it was too plain, so i kinda just added some stuff to fill it in, and there will be music, but right nowi'm waiting on the klient for the song files and other stuff...so this is the most i can put together for now. i just wanted to see what everyone thought of my overall concept.

once again, thanks for the help =)

I'm using IE7 and I get both a vertical and horizontal scrollbar on the pop-up. It's very slight but shouldn't be there. :)

No problem! I have both Firefox and IE7 on my pc. I'm considering downloading Netscape and Opera as well. Always good to check how things look on multiple browsers, and if u can, multiple platforms. :)

The site is on my server for testing purposes...once the site is finished im going to upload it to my client's server.

I was just posting it here to ask you guys what you think about the layout/design of the actual site.

good concept. touch up the graphics. All those big blob text graphics have to go. Replace them with some nice clean font and then add go into photoshop and make a background with some black grundge effects on all corners. Try to clean up the picture of the kid too, the cuts are horrible.

That banner ad throws the whole thing a bit in my opinion. :td:
