I decided that I didn't like trees. Besides which, I don't think that there is a real tree within 30 miles of here. :puzzle: So. Anyhow. That idea went out the window.

Anyhow. Here is my next idea, let the bashing begin. ;)

edit: New Picture up.

The little ones are to show scalability. I cleaned up some of the curves, though there is perhaps more work to be done on that.

Do you perfer the vertical or horizontal versions?

looks pretty good! but the R's are looking a little awkward, I think you should also make more space between the R's because when you scale it down I dont think it would look verygood.

hmm im not really liking it. it doesnt strike me as something that would really stand out from the pack. if your going to use this as your logo then you just need to give it some re-touching in some spots so that its nice and crisp

I was concerned about the scaling. It maintains its attributes as far down as I'd need to put it. (About .5")

edit: Apix, what parts specifically do you feel need to be retouched so that it feels 'crisper'?

the middle lines, and the inside curve of the "r"

Sweet, thanks, love getting critiques that specific. :thumb2: I agree, actually, now that I take a good look at it.

Anyone know a way to convert a line in Illustrator to a shape? i.e., instead of a single vector stroke defined by two points and a bezier curve, a solid shape defined by four points...

It's def. better than your other attempt. I like the color(s) and the composition. Should be of some use! :thumb:

o ya and one more thing, in your "r" the hook starts off skinny then gets fat, i think it makes it a little awkward IMO

Alright, my only complaint about it is that your logo is based around this whole "double R's" concept and yet your actual branding only has one r in it. Maybe if it were like ragona revolutions or something that has two r's I'd "get" it, but it's not really registering with me the way it is. Clever design though.

Not really sure about this, I think it has too much of a corperate feel to it, and not enough personalisation. Have you thought about perhaps not using lettering for you logo but perhaps having some kind of symbol? I think this might be alot more effective.

just use the pen tool to complete the other 3 sides

As to the double R, it's my initials, so that's the idea behind it.

I like this logo, but I'll make another one with a little more spunk and see whether I like the more corporate or non-corporate feel.
