I like it. It's a little small, it'd be really nice to see it bigger. The typography looks a little bit awkward, but I can't quite tell due to the size. Anyhow, I guess this does tell us that it doesn't scale perfectly. :P

it reminds me alot of http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/60 the css mania logo. i dont particularly like this logo and how it comes out of the D. looks tacky imo. try to somehow make it smoother.

Really nice, it may be just the image settings but the on the beige backround right around the green leaf looks a bit pale.

no it doesnt REALLY matter. i was simply saying that it reminded me of the css mania logo which means that its not THAT good of a logo because other people have the same sorta thing which makes it non unique. not trying to flame him cuz its not a bad logo, and the leave alone looks better than the CSS mania logo.

you just need to work everything out so that it fits together.

I like it, the text fits together very nicely and the shadow is really cool. One problem is that it looks to me like someone has smudged dirt on the leaf, just looks kinda ugly and makes ur logo look tarnished. (Odd way to describe a logo) Good start though. ;)

well I like it a lot... esp leaf effect...

And leaf can indirectly be related with design, so it can be a good logo..

Only thing I find problematic is the proportion of leaf and fonts..

Nice Leaf.... but your typography ruins it, you are trying to get the leaf to flow out of the harsh text, and its just noit working, either use a more cursive text that will flow better, or amputate the leaf and the text, and keep them as seperate entities.

The kerning is a bit too tight. Looks like almost like "dean style". I find the leaf shapes a little uninteresting, they're very basic and don't really scream 'leaf' to me. :puzzle: I think part of it is how much bigger that one leaf is compared to its little buddy, that throws my eye for some reason.

Yeah, definately getting better, try turning that smaller leaf CCW and moving it so its origin is at the same place of the larger one. That might look better.

i definitly like the updated version best. its got a nice feel to it. add some colour to it though and it will be nice.
