I like the art, but I find the page to be a little boring in execution. Having to manually scroll and rollover each one is a pain.

That wasn't the point of the site :(

No, it's a a really cool site, the art is nice, but the execution is so boring that it detracts. Whether the execution is the point of the site or not, it is certainly a part of it.

sure, but I posted it here for the artwork I say!

I think the execution detracts from the otherwise awesome artwork.

wow that's some annoying "functionality" didn't even bother to go very far in the site.

it would be better in flash with an auto scroller = mouse left pic scrolls left, mouse right pic scrols right, mouse in middle pic stays still so you can admire. good artwork bad functionality.

very nice art... It was difficult to navigate and rollover to see image was really irritating... rather he should display image whenever scrollbar takes you to that image area... that would have saved loading of all images and also eliminated rollovers..

Excuse me... but did any of you care to see that the link Theros gave us was found on Webarchive = an older version ?

The illustrator obviously has learned from the functionality "problem" and made his new version a bit more traditional (*sigh*) in terms of navigation.

Check out http://www.chrisguest.net/

That said I think the old version is a better choice for what he is trying to do !

Great art - no doubt about that !

I love horizontal scrolling sites. His was done well, but the content was goofy. I agree with insaniak; drag, mouseOver, drag, mouseOver...boring. Essentially, all he has is a big picture. Nice artwork but I think it could be better realised.
