PLEASE HELP WITH WMP

i never ever thought i would have to uninstall this great player, but i downloaded WMP 11 beta. its hard to use. i had a problem w/ nero and their support team told me to reinstall it. so i did and it tells me i need to end WMP. so i do control alt delete and end> procees> wmplayer.exe the little crap pops up again and i cant end the process. so i was like screw this, and i went to uninstall it, the crap didnt come w/ an installer and i cant do it from add/remove programs. i cant delete program files because there in use! what do i do. i hate microsoft 4 this.

Have you tried add and remove programs?

Go into safe mode and then try uninstalling it.

yah, then i just got a virus, man that was scary, WMP is the leasy of my concerns, this virus was beastly, i had spybot and 2 firewalls running after i detected it. man, the virus had a phone number which tried to dial my connection, thank god for the firewall. then i did system restore to last night. man that was a close one. i will just reinstall WMP now. but the sucker still didnt come w. an uninstaller. and yes, if you reread my post i did try add/remove programs. (hope i didnt sound rude).

you can't uninstall wmp11 the only way to do it is see if you have a system restore date b4 your install.

Click on "How do I uninstall the player" and click on the link for WMP11. That might work :)

You must have the bad beta version of WMP11, I heard beta 2 (?) was corrupt (?) in it's first release (?)

I'm unsure of this information. I love WMP11, it's color chooser is AWESOME. I use NERO too.. No problems for me! :D
