ok, for the past day or so my wirless network has been retarded. the router is right next to my laptop, so there shouldnt be any signal problems..... but every 15 minutes or so it says "signal strength low" then immediately after "limited or no conectvity" ... even though it says no connectivity the meter still says full signal strength (but the network still doesnt work).
i tell it to disconect from the network, then connect again, and everything works fine for another 15 minutes, then it happens again...
how do i fix this?!
thnx in advance
Edit:forgot to mention i cant jsut switch out the wirless card to see if that's the problem... it's a internal card from dell

try restarting the router, IE unplug for 5 minutes... then try it, and also restart your internal card, IE do a repair... Usually the Limited thing is only when you have soo low signal it can't find it or the Assigned IP address is invalid... Check that also. Hope that helps

What make of router do you have and how long have you had it?
You don't have to disconnect and reconnect every time you loose the connection, you can just right click on the icon in the taskbar and click repair :)

Yeah Linksys sucks majorly. I can't seem to network my computers with mine. I've tried everything and I can't get each computer to see the other. One time it magically worked for a day or two but mysteriously stopped again.

lol, most routers have some kind of default password, Negear has 'admin' for username and 'password' for password...
You odviously change it when you set it up :cap:

Yeah as soon as it starts constantly loosing connection, it's ****ed, you can't fix it unless you buy a new one :P
Someone said something about cooling in a topic I made when mine went crazy. Apparently the cooling in Linsys routers is crap, turn it on it's side and it's supposed to work better...
Mine used to loose connection like every 10 mins, pain in the butt.
