Is anyone here a member of designologue.com (http://www.designologue.com/v3/)? I just joined up and I posted this as my first 'One-Off Designologue' for the theme 'Portrait'. I chose to do a self portrait. The style is inspired by horror movies and games such as Saw, The Ring, Manhunt and Silent Hill.
Comments are welcome.

Fits the style man, good work. Not really a fan of the style but you pulled it off well.

I like it, though the face on the left does look like it has heavy scarring on the jaw
but as always, nice work

The effects are really good, but I would consider getting a new model :p:

Heh. What, you're not scared of the hairless prepubescent fellow in the picture? :vamp:

@ Cybercode, charlyfrance, Lissy, Rab and Butters: Thanks very much!
@ nicholas87: Thanks lol.
@ anogarlr: The "hairless prepubescent fellow in the picture" is an 18 year old me. But if you feel like commenting on the actual image, I'd really appreciate it. ;)

Heh. Sorry. I think you did an excellent job on the image. You've managed to very accurately recreate that style of photo editing, which is a useful skill to have, as it is a popular effect. The image on the left has some harsh artifacting on the jaw, which perhaps was intended, but I find it to be a little but much, it looks like someone made a mistake with a brush in Photoshop. I think softening that up a bit would be nice, or even entirely removing it. Nice job, I think you can be proud to add this sort of thing to your tutorial, it shows a diverse skillset.
Keep up the good work. (Mr. Hairless Prepubescent Fellow  )

I see what you mean with the jaw/chin thing. I'll fix that right up.
