xml image scroller with links

Hey Team,

I am looking for the following:

1) Vertical orientation Menu System
2) Loads everything via xml
3) Menu consisting of images that have the same width, but variable heights
4) Scrolls up and down through listing, if larger than on screen (which will be)
5) Continuous scrolling when not on image is not necessary, but would be nice
6) Linkable to pages within the site. Links defined in the XML

I am using this tutorial from Kirupa

But I can't get the link code to work. This is my modified code from the tutorial. This tutorial has some of the things I need but not everything. If you have a tutorial or example that I am looking for that would be sweet. I work for a non-profit org. and can't spare any expense for this simple yet necessary addition to our in house site work.

This isnt that hard of a task...i love when people say stuff like that. if it's not that hard, then why don't you just do it yourself?

anyway, you have your list of requirements, so why don't you try to figure out one at a time? ask questions at each step.
