For the most part I think it looks really good. But in the same sense I think the box enclosures absolutely KILL the design, the freeness and openness of it. And I think you could get away with using another font too... looks very stale. I do like the look and feel of it that you're tryin to get.

If you don't mind I took a 5 minute liberty to show you what I mean... if you do feel free to tell me to shove it. Promise I won't ban you :look:

I think opening it up helps continue the sleek cool feel you've got goin and doesn't detract or conflict with the artwork.

Thanks for the kind words and comments!

and

Simplistik get stuffed man!!!!!!

nah, i appreciate your outlook and you taking the time to mess around with the screen prints, thanks.

I have tried many combinations of border-no border, diff fonts etc. Although I do know what you mean about the borders and about the freedom of space, they do actually serve a purpose also. As the whole site is using a liquid layout they provide a mask, all be it a transparent one against the graphics when the window is resized.

Although I do like your screenprints and am tempted to do away with the borders and change the font, from experience with this design and doing it before I think I'll keep it how it is.

After all design is all about making decisions isnt it :toad:

Yeah, I very much vote for keeping your design the way it is. Great page, it feels very professional, and it's something you can be proud to send potential clients to look at.

Cheers.

Great work.

Grats! That's really awesome, you deserve it.

Hey, I decided to make my own little sliding image loader thing, such as the one in the thread you linked, and I got it to work just fine, but there's a dumb problem...

I can't get the images to load as if my empty movie clip is registered in the middle, they keep heading down to the 0, 0 position and being way off from where I want them to be. Now I'm thinking about adding a:

loader_mc. _x -= pic.width/2

But it seems like there is a way around that? What the heck little simple thing am I missing?

Er. Haha. I'm actually rather pleased that I figured out how to fix my own problem before looking at Cello / Scotty's creation, but looks like I should indeed add that code. Haha. Thanks, nevermind. I feel like a dumb smart person. >_<

There are some bugs that needs to be corrected, but in the other hands, everything seems to be normal. Keep it that way!~ Nice job...
