Go THE AUZZIES !!!!!! Mark Viduka and Harry Kewell. both scored as well :beam:
I heard Man United might buy Harry Kewell for next season
United in £6m talks for Kewell
Manchester United have held secret talks with Harry Kewell's agent over a £6million bid. The Leeds midfielder, 24, is poised to net a staggering £70,000-a-week, almost double his present salary. His agent Bernie Mandic met United representatives and was the club's guest of honour at Wednesday's European Cup clash with Real Madrid. Leeds are desperate to hang on to their Aussie striker, who has a year left on his present deal. But he is ready to suffer the wrath of Elland Road fans by joining their bitter rivals. And debt-ridden Leeds may find it hard to turn away a serious offer.

Yeah maybe, i heard that too. And beckham might go to Real Madrid, and the mardrid soccer spokesman came out and said that they were not intrested in beckham but they did the same for Ronaldo a month before they got him. lol. Kewell will be great in Manchester wonder what happends. They dont really need him on the left wing position he usually plays because of giggs and John o'shea. But have you noticed Kewell was playing more of a right wing and forward position playing against Arsernal. So i'm guessing he might take the right wing spot from beckham if he leaves. Hmmm :-\ maybe even play Kewell when beckham is benched.
Yeah. I personally don't think Beckham will go. I just can't see him going. He's been a fan of Manchester United since he was a little boy. I think the only reason why Ferguson didn't play him in the second Real Madrid match was because he's quite ineffective against fast defenders generally, and that's basically all Roberto Carlos is.
The sums of money though are quite ridiculous. Why any club needs £37,000,000 for just one player is quite ridiculous.
You're quite knowledgable about football for an aussie:P

Yeah you would be suprised, even though our own league here is nothing to brag about there are still many followers in football (we call is soccer, dont ask why, because i dont know:-\) ,I'm into in pretty hardcore, English league, Spanish league, Italian ( a little) and some scottish league as well, well i watched the Rangers and celtic game , love the way Larisson plays. I'm a sport fan i guess, i play basketball , and watch that as well. ;)

I think real madrid was really unfair at that time..
they knew that Man Utd wasn gonna be difficult to beat, so they tried to break their concentration by creating the Beckham's saga.. you see after Man Utd beat them 4-3 and they still qualified to the next round.. this saga was suddenly vaporised..
but some newspaper tried to filled in their column or maybe they don't like ManUtd and prefer Arsenal to be the champ.. they tried to bring in the story back again.
I guess that's pretty nasty.
We know that Beckham loves united, and there's no way he and his wife are gonna go to spain.. they would probably have more difficult life there..
so I believe that Beckham will stay, and Man Utd will be the treble champion again next season..
oh.. and I hope Sir Alex buys Kluivert or Ronaldinho to make United sharpened.. Shevchenko would be nice.. Ronaldo perhaps?
let's make Ronaldo's saga then :)
