I saw a book recently on Degas, i like his work a lot.
No reference Images, only my imagination.

i love the colors. brings out a cheery, relaxed mood. good piece

only thing that's distracting to me is the purple/bluish pillow
object. teh color makes it seem out of place to me. Unless that's
really the area of the work you want the eye taken to.

Unflux. I totaly agree it is a compositional mistake. I forgot to change its color.

it's really good, but to be honest i don't think it's up to your usual super-high standard.

specifically, the top arm looks weird, as if it must be twisted at a strange angle to sit like that (i think it's because of the shading)

also the bottom (the body part, not the location) looks a bit overdefined

it's still a nice piece, and the colours certainly say 'summer' but i've seen better from you :smirk:

on another note, the lighting is really nice, and the having tried a bit of life-drawing myself, i know how hard it is, so i can appreciate your skill, especially with no reference!
