WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPERS. $75K - $85K (MAX)

My client, a retailer of gourmet coffee and teas located in South FL, whose primary distribution is through the Internet and mail order catalog is rapidly growing and quickly making their mark in the gourmet coffee and tea industry.
In this critical role, the Web Application Developer(s) will be a part of the team responsible for application development and maintenance of our proprietary web site and other back office systems, working under and reporting to the Director of Technology. We are looking for a self-motivated candidate who is willing to work hard for the success of the company and finds enjoyment in a job well done.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Soft Skills
o Ability to interact with business users to gather requirements.
o Develop plans and priorities and manage to those plans.
o Clearly communicate status of priorities and progress.
o Ability to troubleshoot and help with systems and customer issues.
* Design
o Object-oriented Software Design and Development
o Knowledge of Design Patterns
o Data-modeling Skills
o Understand Web Application Architecture
* Development
o Competence in the Java programming language is a must!
o J2EE Experience (Specifically Servlet and JSP technologies)
o Application development using Frameworks (Specifically Struts)
o DBMS Experience - Ability to write complete SQL queries.
o Competence in HTML.
* Administration
o Knowledge of Database Administration (Specifically MySQL)
o Application Server Administration (Specifically Tomcat and Apache)
o Server Administration (Windows Server 2003 and Fedora)
