Flash over background

I have a flash website, and I have an image that will serve as a background, which will fill up the screen.

THen i want my flash site to overlap a certian part. I have access to dreamweaver.

the best way to do this is to create your background image for your page and flash movie in photoshop or fireworks, and then slice the image up, placing the resulting images in a flash/HTML table hybrid.

here's an example:

the slice outlined in red is the slice you'd import into flash. as for the slices outlined in beautiful lime green, you'd place those in your html table.
