That really is the longest loading site I've been to since we upgraded from 56k like, 10 years ago. Wow!

The graphics are beautiful, but I found it really hard to navigate. :(

wow what a waste of load time. Should not be in cool sites because of rediculous navigation and the fact that it takes 5 minutes to load on broadband.

Nav and the hit area for first menu and transitions are too slow. Graphics are good thats all i can say.

good graphics, great graphics, but that's about all I can say, it was WAY to hard to navigate, I found the fact that you had to roll over the graphic to navigate, and the fact that the graphic moved.

Good graphics but not the best navigatinal experence I have had!

(don't get me wrong, it looks nice, just not usable at all)

who ever does this site should takes really care of the ergonomic. Probably a she, anyway... :look:

On the other hands, I like her graphics but let's face the fact, forget about site optimization and ergonomic of it. What a waste of bandwith and time!!:snooze:

I think I have grey hair after all that wait.

Seeing as the quality of a site should increase in proportion to the time spent downloading - I thought that was shocking!

Can't navigate it at all - no idea what the buttons do, couldn't even find any text apart from one line that was hiding 60% off the top of he screen which I couldn't read.

BIG thumbs down :(

jeeeez, those graphics can't be worth that wait but since i only made it a level down in the site i can't figure out how to get to whatever too that long to download. break up the content just a little and maybe make it just a little easier to navigate, jeez.

Really nice graphic's there. navigation isnt very clear.

The navigation kinda reminds me of tokyo plastics, with the buttons just pop up on animations and images already there, can be annoying when your waiting for something and then u realise you have to click a circle thats been there 5 mins.

the contact info is there, if u can read chinese?... (click on the bird after clicking on the vine, after clicking on the tree, after... u get the jist...
I really found it totally dis-functional and after the initial "wow, this is actually pretty nice", I decided it was bloody boring. Another reason why print designers should not use flash. She really needs to stick with Illustrator.

The load time was extremely fast and the navigation was excellent. I like when sites are good. Thank you.

Edit: Now that I've actually looked at the site. I actually really like it.. Good find. Can't believe you guys had trouble with the navigation... Think about what the site is about.

Besides, she's a Japanese schoolgirl. They can't do anything wrong.

Edit2: Nevermind, just saw her artwork. I don't know how I have the exact opposite opinion as everyone else in here.. She's seriously artist noob. :(

Beautiful graphics but the navigation was kind of weird... not to mention the immense load times. But then again, Japan may have faster broadband speeds than the US.

This site is a perfect example of how a good site needs! to be a balance of form and function.

I concur. It took a solid 30 seconds to a minute to load, and then a very cluttered and incomprehensible site appeared. If this person could get a UI partner, he/she could possibly have a great site. Whoa. Brain strain! :puzzled:

Great site!

I love losing control when a site is as beautiful as this one. I like the fact that i didnt know where i would be taken next. I kept clickin cause I liked what i saw and wanted to see more beautiful design and animation.

UGH! Saw this in FWA a while ago. Good designs and work but navigation is horrible. It'd be kool for an experimental type site, but not when you're showcasing.
