Im trying to make a tactics based rpg. If anybody knows any good tutorials on how to get started that would be appreciated. I haven't actually started getting into the programming yet, but if anybody has any suggestions i could use them. I've come up with a few ideas, but nothing major and nothing has even been tested yet.

I've read that entire post, but it doesn't get into developing the combat system or leveling system which are going to be the primary parts of my game. It only really gets into world movement, which isn't that big of an issue for me.
