need help improving this

Hi there everyone. any thoughts on this pic? i need some help with text and anything else. im gonna use it as a sig.

first- sigs have to be 300x60 or less.

Try adding some colour to some of it. This can be an interesting effect. I think that image might look good half green, and half grayscale. Do you have a colour copy?

hey invis, yea... i think some color would be good... green is probably the best since that looks like grass.

i would maybe try to incorporate text into the backround as opposed to on top of it... just my thoughts on this specific image

its grass though! grass isnt black and white! :)

as for the avatar, should i make one from scratch? ive seen people take a section out of their sig and use it.

I think the origonal idea of using both grayscale and color was the best. When you have a crisp striking image in B/W just using a bright color accent (sparingly not all over) can create a great effect due to the contrast. I think it looks good already, but I think you should explore the idea offered.

Also I really think your typo needs some work - I dont feel it adds but takes away from the image... JMHO

Either way - it is nice.
