Umm... so back to the topic, seems more ppl are facinated by the fact that you're a girl.

Anyway... personally I think the manip is bad. No... not bad... it's borderline bad/horrible. Reason being is there's no purpose behind the manipulation. Why make her hulk-green? You should go for a monotoned, or sepia look w/ a hint of color showing. Give more of a classy feel. You also should think about blending her in w/ the environment a little more.

I manipulated the bejesus out of her because I like doing it, and it can sometimes look crazy-artsy (in a good way :ponder: ) which is what I was going for.

I'm not such a fan of sepia. For the most part, I agree - the green is prolly too much (its much duller on one of my monitors) and I can dig you about blending her in with the environment. Thanks

it's white and a little blue-ish on my lcd. i know the artsy-look you are going for. you might want to try saturating the graphic a bit more.

my main plight with the piece is the difference in resolution between your background and the photo of your sister. the background is nice and sharp but your sister is fuzzy up front, and not in a gausianBlur kind of a way. maybe try using the unsharp mask a little or just a better quality image. perhaps one without a cigarette.

and is "my hot sister" the title of the piece or just a clever marketing ploy?

I think its fantastic. I dunno how you got your sister to look how she does, almost intentionally another layer of the image, like its going to look 3D if you put the glasses on. And it looks like you took a low res image and made it bigger, but there's no loss of resolution. I love the colors, the combination of the cartoon clouds and your sister and the background and the cars. I think its effin amazing keep running with it.

sure thing :hitman:, play around with the settings in that filter, you can get some really slight effects or some extremely dramatic effects.

..i actually have a client that i make print out my comps because her monitor is so badly calibrated. she can never see real color on-screen. sucks..
