The "Starting up" part is just like Windows. Slow.

256 colors? it looks pretty vector to me.on lcd.

I didnt see how many of the examples had anything to do with vista; but rather an application that more than likley works perfectly on XP as well......but good use of technic....ran pretty smooth was like watching a comercial

The "Connect with People" tab interested me the most because of what I do. But what I dont understand is Vista bringing to the table some other form of media delivery for that operating system? Or was that just clever use of flash that is already possible on XP? I need to know if my creative department is going to get bombarded with a whole new array of technology when we migrate to this. Anyone know whats going on with all the 3d stuff the dude is talking about?

the presenter sounds really bored. He seems to fall asleep in mid sentence.
some of the movements seemed quite laggy to me, the background looks poor too. Overall I expected a lot more.
edit: if you leave the guy alone for a while he says:
"To click or not to click. That is the question" :D

Under the Connecting with People tab, all of those appear to be Flash apps, with nothing at all special about the OS.
Surely somebody can tell me I'm wrong? I hope so!
