Logo Needed

Hi, I need a logo!

The website (not much on it) is http://sponte.net
It's basically a site for a Unix System Administrator.

sponte is latin and means the following;



sponte abl. f.: of persons , [willingly, of one's own accord; unaided]; of things, [by itself, automatically; in itself, alone].

The key words are; unaided,itself,automatically,alone.

The main area of interest for this Admin is System Automation!

I need a creative logo that will show this (automation). The price depends on the creativity and the designer's price. Who ever i choose either from here or else where will be posted here (name+winning Logo). After that the thread will be deleted.

I could only pay via PayPal.

There's no real limit but the sooner the better.

perhaps I misunderstand, but ... you want logos, posted here, with an unknown time limit, unknown budget (and you say you'll pay what the designer wants, based on creativity!! - tell me HOW you will measure it)?!?!?!

The price depends on the creativity and the designer's price.

The reason for no time limit is very simple. People that are actually interested will try do the logos as soon as they can, where as the rest will take their time. By all means, someone might reply with a logo a month from now but more than likely, i will have choosen a logo by then. Also i am in no rush but that does not necessarily mean to take a year to post a logo.

As for price (again), if the logo is worth $INSERTAMOUNT, i will pay $INSERTAMOUNT, if is not, i won't. Obviously better looking (and get the point across) logos will be more then the ones that don't.

I was responding to the user's (freeskier89) question. You could water mark them.
If i wanted to "run" what method would prevent me from doing so? You could say " put in a flash file", "water mark" or what ever other method, but than i could just "run" with the idea.

By all means you could just pm and send me an email. In all i was answering the user's question.

I have pay for this before (ask paddyduke .. i think that his sn/website etc)

My thoughts on the second and third are, "Autonomy leafing out". The 4th is horrid, but the concept is descent, so I will expand if you want.

Your first logo is out the picture But your second batch has a winner!. The first one with "the autonomous network" looks very Very promising but will need work! The rest i don't really like. So work on the first one. I don't really like how it branches out of the O but maybe just the whole little branching thing (which illustrate computer networks) is what really stands out. It actually shows what sponte.net deals with.

The logo looks nice, especially like the font but that's about it. It does not show anything (well to me) related to what sponte stands for. So that one's out the picture.

The logo looks nice but i am still trying to figure out what can the two curves mean (and S?). What were you trying to show/illustrate?

I know something as "automation" is hard to illustrate but to me time (clocks or related) come to mind and also Computer Networks (which is what sponte.net deals with).
