theres actually no navigation, you can just scroll down and visualize the artworks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, it seems that the only Flash is the central scrolling picture?

If so, it overwhelms the design of the page and looks out of place.

what do you exactly mean by overhelms?

Cool idea - but i think when you go onto the next line of showcases of the work, it should start in 1 block's width - i.e. keep the left hand most column just for the nav...

:)

yeah, that would be also a good idea...

Don't like the site much, but I really like your portfolio items.

Portfolio is great! Big typo on the spash page and huge one page scrolling for the entire site is a bit "cliche" with designers now, but there is nothing wrong with that. ;) I like it. Only thing I would change is to make your thumb images clickable to view the larger piece.

SlowRoaster: That's what i tried to do... make the user focus on my works instead of the site design.

dru_nasty: your right on the click thing. I'll work this out! thanks

I like it...looks pretty good.
It didnt confuse me. and looks really profesonal.

the flash peice looks pretty cool.....it be real cool if you could scroll through diffrent features...and if it faded in and out as you rolled over and out of it. Then maybe it would be less overwhelming....it just draws a tad to much attention, which could make the rest just look like a jumbled mass....

But great stuff

Templarian : Thanks for the advice and for the spelling error :S

Machuse : Yeah, would be cool to make something better out of the flash piece. I'll see what i can do, but my Flash talents are not incredible... (thats why im here)

i like it. i don't think the flash piece in the middle overwhelms anything. good layout and type. i like how there aren't sections... just your portfolio. i think i might treat mine similarly

The opinions are really different, some people like the flash presentation in the middle, some people don't. What should i do...

thanks for the comment haam

Leave the presentation...just make it more snazzy and maybe hidable someway

I like it, its just a little chaotic... it doesn't seem at first site that the site is organized.

I like it, very clean and simple, I think the Flash in the middle just doesn't fit in with what your trying to do (not even with the color scheme). I do like the layout but it takes a sec to get used to. It would be great if you provided an English version cuz I don't see one and I don't know the language ur using. Like the site and layout thought, might want to change your Flash. May want to add a menu-bar or something to make it easy to move to the different sections on the page.

thanks for the critic mate. Indeed, i continue telling myself that the flash in the middle doesnt fit at all. The language is in french and of course it would be necessairy to add an english version but i have to find the time translate. And you do have a menu bar on top where it says "digitale, analogue, autre, photography".

I can't read French so I couldn't really tell what was a menu and what wasn't, so sorry about the menu. I like ur stlye and colors. ANother thing, could you make ur menu a little bit bigger and 'bolder', so that people will easily see it, if people are like: "What!?!?! How do I get around this %@#$ place!", is it likely they will stay? THere's my common sense for the day.

Um...thanks? I guess, keep me/us updated on what you do with ur site. It's going uphill right now, and the hill keeps on getting taller, and there's people with energy bars every half mile. :D Keep up the good work!

Doing work you do won't to do is one of the few minuses of life (others include getting old, taxes, and serial killers). Like your little quote in ur footer too. It's funny! :D (Just enjoying a second or two of utter stupidity.) Once again, keep up the good work.

Just remember critique is being given by other designers/developers, so you're always going to get different opinions on your site good and bad. Ya can't please everyone ; )

I might print that out in a pretty quote look and hang it on my wall, those are words of wisdom.
