Just intrested to know...

Where you from and how much do you pay for fuel?

Sydney Australia

I filled up @ $0.99 per litre (4.4 litres to a gallon i think) for premium this morning. And we are led to believe that fuel is quite cheap here. Is it?

$1.00 AUD is about $0.60 US

Am i being ripped off?

The price is going down right now, and California's gas prices are high, and SF's are high as compared to the rest of the state from what the news has told me...

And we do love our Muscle Cars...

Nothing like a V8 sitting at an idle... when I rent cars, it is usually a Mustang GT convertable...

Ford brought out a Falcon GT/HO (handling options) here in 1971 that was 145mph straight out of the box... That was our last "Supercar" until the 427 monaro was released here this year.. See my last post on the previous page..and that was considered and still is i think the fastest 4 door production car in the world..

just to give you an idea on how expensive it is gasoline fo rus brazillians. and coming to think that we produce 95% of the oil consumed here...

I grew up in Fairfield... Went to Westfields High. Did you see that Brocky's driving a Monaro in this years 24 hour at Bathurst.. Looks like he's chasing that 10th win again....

Dave.

Kit, your being ripped off something severe, glad i'm not paying that...

I just drove from Albany, OR to Houston, TX and happen to have my gas receipts handy. Gas in Oregon was $1.69/gal. California prices were highest at $2.23/gal and $2.37/gal. Gas in Arizona was $1.95/gal, and in New Mexico it was $1.51/gal. In Texas it has ranged from $1.52/gal to $1.68/gal.
