May 14 - Wed - The Conga Room - Los Angeles, CA

The band is the Iguanas, out of New Orleans. You just can't keep your feet still...

this band kept me sane for a few years.

they come to the Chicago area...

if I could send you a plane ticket, do you seriously think I would be here in SF this weekend?

I think not!

I should probably mention that I never miss these guys when they are out west, or when I am in New Orleans... I have invited the guys over for a BBQ while they are in town, but haven't heard back yet...

I will be at the show the following day in SF (it's barely 3 blocks from my house), in one of the best venues ever... The Great American Music Hall, a 1910 era burlesque hall with all the trimmings... Not expensive either ($15-20)...

if anyone in the Bay Area wants to go...

I know you do BC...

Moraga is a beautiful little niche in the hills over there ( I used to live in Walnut Creek, in one of my earlier chapters)

love to meet you as well...

Yeah definetely... I'm gonna see about that concert though. Sounds like fun, ive been listening to their stuff at their site. I'll see if I can get the cash to go... but I've been going to other concerts recently so I'm a little low. Is the cost for the 14th show 20?

usually $15-20 is all they charge @ GAMH... but then again, I think they were just sold...

Iggy's are never expensive... they are a working man's band... Duel tenor Sax's, with a latin/cajun flavor...

I'm getting all tingly just thinking about it...
