I like it.. It's pretty cool.
Maybe you can increase the layout size a tad bit?..
In the about me section, the right sublinks are hard to read..
The black font blends with the bg. Maybe you can make the links white?..
good work.

Nice concept, i like the image, and the music is nice, though the sound effects are too much, there annoying. the preloader especially.
The Layout is nice, but im not too sure about the main menu, the butterflies are fine , its just that your type is hard to read on that background, this happens all the way through the site, maybe a little panel behind the type. something to Make is clearer. more legiable.
Nice start, a few tweaks here and there, and it will look ever better. :beam:

Well the site is nicely put together, but the ideas aren't original at all.
First off your break away square transitions is seen on www.rayoflight.net
Even your animations in the background reminds me of Yusato's frame by frame animated flowers.
Also that butterfly is a dead give away that you've seen Yusato's site.
Overall I can see you have the technical skills to put a flash site together, but what you have here doesn't demonstrate any ability to design something new and original.

I agree with the sound effects being annoying.
I looked at these sites, and DID find similarity, but not enough to
attack you like some ppl are. :sure:
Tone down the sound effects and make it a bit bigger...
And you got it made in da shade

While your site may not be the most original, it is very well done. If you are indeed 15 years old, then you have a bright future ahead of you. I especially enjoyed the music you used. It is a refreshing change from that cheesy, techno-dance drivel that most Flash sites like to peddle.

Takes too many steps to enter the broadband version of your step. I had to click like 3 times man! Some people won't have the patience. And they won't like watching your slow intro movie, because it is not impressive.

As from what I read here, I think there have been high standards set in this forum. I really like your site. I myself have just turned 16, and my site isn't nearly as impressive as yours. Although some people say it's not original, I think you still have to be able to MAKE the site, which you did. And it's awesome. The only downpoint to it might be the fonts on the opening screen: the ones which are kind of handwritten... Good job though!

thanx for the replies people...lolz......well in today's world...wot is original? drawing inspiration from a site and modifiying it in a manner should not be called unoriginality now should it? i'm not trying to defend myself here but speak for the general majority of designers...i mean.....if you see something that looks kickass.....wouldn't you want sumthing like that on your site? thanx for the flame electrongeek...=) i shall take all of your opinions into hand and try and amend all problems.

inspiration and stealing are two different things
you don't speak for most of the designers here; never assume that
i see things i like, then make my own version...once i have that mastered...i then take it to the next level and fuse it with something that makes it completely my own...i look at other sites for techniques and to learn new skills...
you don't just bit and piece ...or frankenstein a site together...

I like that Frankenstein line, lol, But he is right gfx. Alot of people were designers before webdesigners. So through their designing period of life they developed their own style, but through searching through the internet and looking at some great technical sites, that inspires designers like myself to create a site with similar technical features, but in our own design flavour.
My advice to all people creating their flash sites out there, is to not forget about the pure design of your site , rather than trying to make their sites all about making cool animations. this is not directed to you gfx, because i like your layout, just some general advice.
