looks pretty simple to me though, just two letters. number two looks good:D
but a bit hard to remember as a logo

^^ My thoughts exactly. It's nice and simple, but not very striking or different enough to stick in my mind.

i agree with everyone else, its pretty simple and indeed kinda hard to remember as a logo, being the prettyboy you are, i am pretty sure you can do way better

iwiw_cutout.gif (http://www.kirupa.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=36417&d=1149219380) is good in its combinations but not in the layout. Cheers prettyboy...

isn't that just a freeware font? available on dafont...?

it is a font I modified a little, but yes it is a font from DA. I want to come up with a simple font that has an old air about it... something about moving forward or the past being forgotten...

It's......

it sticks out, but it's not necessarily meaningful or strong, I guess?

Half my problem is that I don't get what it means. The other half is that it's just typography of two letters. I can't place any more exact thoughts about what's wrong with it.

I'd remove the dot over the i... or make it quite a bit smaller... it'd look more "logoish" but aside from that me personally I don't particularly care for it as a logo.

thanks for the feedback. i don't love it either, but perhaps i will just use my best effort and let somebody redo it later... this is going to be a colourlovers-esque project on a much smaller scale.
