for the fluid thing I would personally use Amorphium Pro.....they have an excellent flash exporter and their metaballs are fun and easy to work with....... www.electric-image.com actually that whole interface and modelling tools are very cool....

well i dont see any proper 'app' but the other solution would be to make a javascript onMouseOver with an animated gif, but this is beyond my reach to research on the net... Use flash (-:
