That's insane! I love it! One thing I have to say though, is that the transitions are a bit long. Like when you click enter, it takes a wee bit to actually get to the stuff.
It's awesome though!

get rid of the black glow behind the text in the news area. im not too sure i like how the content is opening. at first i expected it to open or cahnge the bottom part so i clicked the link like 5 times. what are you gonan put in the audio box? it seems abit big for an mp3 player. same with the newsletter box.
its really cosmetically appealing, but the usability is a little off.

Your buttons mess up a lot the main nav ones... the cursor like doesnt line up with them if you scroll a little bit.

^i agree with templarian
that tiled bg is sweet:D
i like the site a lot, just fix some parts a bit, and it would be awesome!

yeah I got the same problem with the buttons once I'd scrolled the page as well. At first they're fine but then scroll and see what we mean (using Firefox).
background looks good, like the fonts, design and logo are impressive, I'd be tempted to maybe lighten the back a tad, not much just a tad, and the trans do take a bit long but I like the site
well done

The problem with the buttons is you seem to have copies of them hidden under the "Currently working on it" section. So when you rollover that section, it screws up the buttons.
I'm not blind, but I get complaints about text contast a lot. So I'd probably look into trying a white glow on the black text, instead of a black glow - see if it looks as good, or find something that does.
Other than that it's very very good. Definetly up there with the best as far as graphics go. Transitions and features ain't too bad either. Could get some awards.

Sweeet! Love it:D
the only thing that bugs me a bit is the starlogo on this site: http://2starstudios.com/preview/ I think it needs to be rotated a bit.

Dizzy, i do agree with you. And the logo should have been there on the splash page. Fonts have not been placed properly, or antialias, but I think THe guys are still working on it and will get it done.

Decrease the contrast of the tiled background. It's distracting.
Get rid of the outer glow on the text in 'press updates'.
Typography needs some work mate.

I agree with what everyone else has said,
but please PLEASE ditch the times-esque font you have for your logo at the top.
It doesn't fit with the page whatsoever.
You might also run into problems down the road with your actual site name, 2 Stars is no 5 Star with respect to the fact that most people use the 5 or 4 star rating system for whatever they're rating.
I'm just saying, naming a site like www.notalentdesign.com would be deadly. Catch my drift?

 I'd love that domain ;)
I love the background. Most stuff has been said. I'm frustrated i have to scroll to see all the site. It looks like it should be able to fit on a 1024 high monitor without a scroll? (Obviously allow for tool bars and stuff)
"copyright 2004".....?
Test is hard to read in updates box. Probably due to that glow around it.
Good work tho', looking pretty slick

to be honest I couldn't agree more :thumb:
everyone loves 2advanced and their held up like what to be, therfore thats what you get tons of sites using the same style as 2advanced...I mean they didn't invent that style, they merely are one of the best at using it (other sites used it before them) but the minute someone does a site the same style, they're accused of stealing it. It's a popular style of sites that 2advanced DID NOT invent. So yeah I agree....**** 2advanced, their time has come and it's going....time for someone else to step up

Well, instead of following the same style, why not be creative and make your own style? People who know 2advanced are definitely going to associate your site with them, whether you like it or not. It looks like youve completely modeled yours off theirs or a site similiar. The very fact that you were waiting for a comment like flipstar's, indicates you were aware of the immense similiarity. That's not good.

the basic basic content chunks are similar but thast about as far as it goes....
colours, transitions and overall feel are completely different than 2A.
ENOUGH WITH THE 2A TALK!

Well aside from the logo, reminding me of them... I don't think he was talkin about your site. I'd definately have to agree w/ chopsky though... and especially since it doesn't really look like "their style" at all... leaves one to wonder.
As for hatin on 2A... it's just jealousy... point blank. You think the time for the "changing of the guard" has come. And their the old and you're the new. It's quite unfair to be compared to them I know, but there's no way you can say that they aren't still a cut above quite a few ppl when it comes to websites.
As for your site... transitions seem a little slow. I'm on a Mac which makes flash a bit slower to begin with... but I was nearly able to go take a nice healthy poop... and come back and it was still transitioning. ;)
I think the site looks good.... I'd personally like to see more of some type of interaction or dynamic envolvment w/ the navigation. Being where it's located makes one think that there should be something more.
Not sure... not all your sections loaded for me... but is it only the top section that changes?
Overall... nice job.

btw your site that you have up right now, if i click enter i go to a "not found" page - might want to disable that until you go live.
it's a cool site but some things are bugging me.
these are suggestions:
1. ditch the image of yourself site was cool until there was this white - pseudo-vector thing of you standing their in the middle, i was like "ahhh so this isn't a company after all it's a one-man-band" nothing wrong with that - but the photo is out of place, doesnt fit the style of the site and is a distraction.
2. i cannot easily read any of your content text - its black on black gradient with a black glow or fuzzy drop shadow? definetly need that changed. also check your font pixel coordinates and make sure they are even and set the text anti-alias for readability.
3. i believe this was said before - but your nav appears to be buggy. also is there really a need for it to be horizontally stacked like that? when I see that i tend to think if I click the link things will slide up and stuff will happen -
4. on the splash where that picture of yourself is - the background looks like puffy daytime difference clouds - i would lose that for a darker background that more matches the elements in your site - something like a dark blue background that has a render lighting - soft omni effect on it - then maybe set the sunrays to overlay - if you take your photo out (please do) you'll have to find something else to put in there - but make it stylistic and cool - not just another vector image.
5. might i suggest yellow for the content section header text
6. i'd work on the typography of your font - pick a new font for that branding - perpetua SC or Trajan pro - or ITC Veljovic are fonts in the same vein as the one you picked, but are nicer and easier on the eyes - id also work on the header to make darker.
7. nice background image
overall its a good start - but you need to get some content in there - or at least get it to where its readable so we can see the layout as a whole entity. - i think you need to carry the dark blue / gray throughout the site though - it needs to have a cohesive-well-rounded sense of closure to to it - stand about 7 feet away from the monitor and look at it - it should all flow together as a single piece of art from back there, then as you get closer, you see the details.
again these were just suggestions, forgive me if I was terse, just trying to get all typed out quickly.
