sorry, slightly off topic here but I've never played any of the FF games but always been curious. Is there one you all recommend starting with? Don't say 1, I don't have enough lives to go through them all! :P We have a PS2 and I may be able to talk my guy's kid into letting me borrow his xbox (the original one) but i'd prefer the ps2. Is it even available on the ps2? :P

yep, ps2 has one of the best (imo) ff games on it aswell...

we might have one of those around too - my guy's kid has been collecting game systems for 13 years. Just recently he busted out the SNES and played all the old mario games! :thumb:

what a bargain! $700 for the system $99 for the games, and $25 dollars a month to play them online!

I find it more cost effective to buy a volkswagen and race it around the backroads with a helmet on, announcing my turns in an english accent like a rally navigator. It's also much more entertaining:)

^ Luna was lookin for the best one to play not Soulty ;) but you are correct, 7 is the best by far, even though 10/10-2 were impressive.

Always excited about anything FF!

first... refrain from commenting on the price of the ps3 in this thread, and how you don't like it. there's already a thread about that go cry there.

I'm not really sure if I'll be gettin the ps3 but if the FF game is that good... I just might do it :D and if they could get fight night on it too :lol: OMG that'd be so sweet :)

Yes you can play PS1 on PS2 :D

I play FF VIII on my Ps2....thats the one I started with, I dunno if thats the best place to start, but it made me go buy FFX as well. Both are great, but very long games, never had the time to finish them off.....
