chapter 11 means the company is trying to stick it out with a restructuring of it's contracts and debts. so SGI's probably not going anywhere. chapter 7 would mean they are ceasing operations.

i saw this coming lol.... i actually thought it did happen.... isnt that one of the reasons they sold maya to autodesk?
at least i thought they owned alias.... ma bey alias bought it from sgi.... aahh idk...

I still can remember that one time where she came in to my class when I was in elementary school and showed off the cool "CGI" effects of streching a picture and distorting it LOL... talk about old :P
