Just thought i would see if there are any other final fantasy fans that have seen the anime series for final fantasy. I watched the first one today and thought it was pretty cool, it included some of the music from the game like when u win a fight :D and even has the great trade mark..... yep you got it!!! the chocobo :crazy: :crazy:. They was fightin a wierd boss in it but the phoenix summon was pretty cool :D

I just picked up Final Fantasy Origins which rekindled(sp?) me love for Final Fantasy.

Only seen the first episode, it is japanese with subtitles, my mate had it on video got it import, not sure from where but it really has the same feel of the ff team unlike the film did lol. I can't wait for ff10 - 2 and i still gotta complete 8, havin done 7,9 and 10. I do really love that type of game, another good one was chrono cross which is well worth playin

Hehe that is definately not as fun as talkin bout ur fave game, i liked the film just thought they went to mfor looking good rather than keepin some of that square magic :D, if the is another chrono i know i'll be in the que to get it!!! Has neone played knigdom hearts? i ain't tryed it yet

Ive had chrono cross for 2 years and STILL haven't played it. Everyone keeps telling me it totally rocks, but I never get to play it because my PS/PS2 are hooked up to the tv my sisters watch.... grrrr :( I thought about changing TVs, but I don't have any other big TVs in the house, and I am not playing that game on a "mini" (13" or something like that) tv... screw that.


As for FFU, I haven't really been following, so I don't know much about it, but the FF series is one of my faves.

I watched it at my friends, dunno how he gets some of his stuff lol.

I would advise maybe downloaind an episode to see if u like it before buyying the rest cause like 350z says it is quite strange hehe and i only seen first episode so i wanna buy it to :trout:

hehe yea just saw it i replyed back :). i wish they had of done a film based on ff7 to, the ending left so many questions unanswered, they could have continued the story or released a sequal to that instead of ff10. that would have been good

Ye i agree like i said earlier it missed the touch of magic u get from the games. I think maybe cause when you playing the game you get alot more involved with the characters and there alot more time for character and story development

And the characters in 7 were great. I mean, Sephiroth has to be the best villain I've ever come across in a game. :)

Ye sephiroth was a great villain, had alot of atmosphere about him. And cloud and tifa were great characters to :D

All of the games really... I prefered the characters in those to any in the film. Maybe you're right, it's because you play the game for 100 or so hours, you get to 'know' the characters...

Lol i can't possibly imagine wot you mean about the reason for liking tifa lol :P. But it is very sad what happens to aeris my team use to be her, tifa and cloud :( :trout:

Cloud (because I had to), Vincent and either Tifa or Red XIII. Vincent was a great character, I had his stats and level better than Cloud. :P

I never really used vincent or yuffie that much, and i got tifa's super weapon so i had to use her :D. Lol and tifa aint a slag!!! she just likes to show what she got :trout:

My final party was... Cloud, Cid, and Red XIII the first time I beat the game... Second time was Cloud, Vincent, and Yuffie. =) I have not seen the series, but like the huge nerd I am I have all the FF soundtracks. I liked the Movie as well, the story was ok but the graphics were amazing. =)

FFX-2 looks like crap. I can't wait for that horrible crap to come out so I can buy it and hate it.

I don't normally buy 'dress-up' games, nor do I usually buy games that are just 're-runs' of it's predecessor (the same map, same everything, with a bit of jumping to find new places), but I'm Squaresoft's Bltch and I can't help it.

Honest to god though, that looks like the worst FF game yet. Lacking any creativity. They could make a new map. Maybe have more than three playable characters (Yep, no switching for the first time in... sheez, a long time.)

Or maybe they could have made a new game, because the ending if FFX contained a little something called 'total resolution of plot' and 'total resolution of characters'.

This game is a piece of worthless junk trying to get some more cash out of a successful series.

I hate you, Squaresoft. Now take my 50 bucks and go away.

I swear to god though, this is the last time. They almost got me to buy one of their spinoffs. Chocobo Dungeons. I just BARELY avoided that, after finding out it was a more... child-aimed game.

I wish the wonderswan were over here. I wouldn't have minded playing some of the FF related minigames. you know you could get special item--- yeah, you knew that. what'm I talking about.

Anyways, I think that FFX-2 and FFXI are messing with a good thing. I think the the Final Fantasy series should stay... untainted by these types of game. I think FFX-2 should not exist, and FFXI should be a spin-off and not interfere with the main series.

FF Online would be just as good as FFXI Online. but it wouldn't be part of the series...

I agree about not making the online version part of the series, but i reckon ffx-2 looks really good, i reckon u mite be pleasently suprised :D, althought dual guns for yuna don't seem quite right

i totally agrre about number 11. It shouldn't be part of the main series, it should perhaps start its own series. The beauty of final fantasy is being part of an epic story and watching that story unfold. If you take the series on-line it will lose a lot of its story telling power.

Im not saying its a bad idea to put it on-line, i just dont feel it would fit in with the rest of the series.

Luckily i do pay per month which means i can afford it. I wonder does it have a monthly fee like games such as everquest?. I think its a nice idea interacting with others in the final fantasy world :D but i ain't personally gonna think of it as part of the ff series

I'm not against female heroes, but with such a weak william shatner entrance in FFX, I hate Yuna, and I hate everything about her. She doesn't fit the part. Change is good, but not all the time.
HUM- Sitting around the camp fire giggling about boys.
No big graphic improvements.
Basically the same game with a new story chopped in.


And did you play FFX? TIDUS IS DEAD! THE WORLD IS SAFE!!! Making a sequel MAKES NO SENSE.
Why Tidus is alive I have no idea. That's just another screwed up plot hole that will earn them a couple million dollars. Cheap bastards.
