Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a new hard drive and installed Windows on it, so essentially my computer has two SATA drives with SATA0 (what I am using now) and SATA1 (what I would like to have the option of using).

The problem is, when the computer boots up, I no longer have a choice to pick between which Hard Drive to boot the computer into. Is there is a simple fix such as modifying boot.ini or something?

Thanks!
Kirupa :bandit:

almost all new motherboards gives an option (when holding a key) which of hard disk should be used as primary

if that's not a case
and you don't have that option, but want to use multiboot with two or more disks and partition
modifying boot.ini is ok explained here

Thanks gvoz! The suggestions in your link did not work, for I should have mentioned that I was installing this with Vista. I found out in the Beta newsgroups that it is a better idea to install XP first and then install Vista.

I just did a clean-format and reinstall of both XP and Vista, and everything works out well now :)
